BA JOHNSTONE+ TV FREAKS + SPRUCE INVADERS POST ARTCRAWL

crowd surfing

BA  JOHNSTONE

"From the shores of Hamilton Harbour via the Bay of North Bay and now just another refugee on the Trent Way in Peterborough. b.a. johnston was born to complain and pine for things he is too much of a total spud to ever obtain. He plays sad, sometimes wistful music about snacks, the pita pit, poutine, videogames and being in love-out of love-and looking for love. He has played shows from Ontario to the east coast and has recorded his first cd, 'Bury Me at Makeout Creek" and is almost finished his second, 'Love letters to the Girls in High School Art Class', if you can pull up a chair under his Hamilton Tiger Cat flag and drink a 50 as you listen to why love is like the 1979 arcade classic asteroids."

TV FREAKS
"Spastic garage-punk from Hamilton, ON. Treble-worshipping, frantic-yet-catchy, hopeless and pissed.
Ripping through rabid and discerning songs with themes of melancholy neurosis set to fix society's medicated haze. Ignore at your own peril."
